About our Club

Aylesbury and District was chartered in 1958 and celebrated our 50th anniversary last year. Currently we have 23 members from a variety of professions, voluntary and other organisations. We give service in the community and share friendship and fun.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the St John Ambulance HQ, Aylesbury, HP20 1HT, at 7 for 7.30 pm. Generally we have a business meeting for about 45 minutes followed by coffee and a speaker, ending at about 9.30 pm. We also have a lively programme of social and fundraising events.

The Club supports local charities such as the Aylesbury Women’s Refuge, Home-Start Aylesbury, Contact the Elderly and Aylesbury Young Carers as well as international charities such as Hope and Homes for Children.

If you would like to join us in helping the community, challenge your thinking on current social issues and be part of an organisation that has some 90,000 members in over 3000 clubs in 123 countries, then maybe you would like to join our club. New members are always welcome. Please contact Joanna Swift on 01296 393237 or email:swiftlexis@hotmail.com
