Some of our members went to a Study Day earlier in the Summer.One of them brought back a copy of Jasvinder Sanghera’s book called Shame.It is about forced marriage and Jasvinder’s struggle to avoid the traditions of her community.The book is now circulating.If you would like to read it please let me know and I will pass on when I have finished it.Jasvinder was one of the speakers at the Study Day along with Jackie Taylor from the Princes Trust,and Theresa May MP.
