Club Diary 2009/10
Our Club meetings are held at the Belvedere Hotel, Bath Road, Bournemouth on the third Monday of each month.Please see below for details.
We usually start the evening with a meal and a chance for members to socialise and unwind from their hectic day. Once everyone is suitably refreshed, we then continue with the business meeting or our Guest Speaker depending on what the Agenda for the evening is.
In addition to these meetings there are many other opportunities to attend Regional, National and International events meeting other members and hearing speakers on a wide variety of topics.
Guests are welcome to attend most meetings, but we would need to know in advance in order that we can confirm numbers for the meals.

MAY
18th May.First Meeting of the New President.Lynne Lacey.This was a very interesting start to the new Presidential Year.We had an informative presentation from three final year students at the Chiropractic College,so are now all sitting properly.We also said goodbye to Grit -our Soroptimist friend from Germany-see separate Post re this
JUNE
15th June:Focus on the Environment with Judith Plumley speaking.Also reports from Region,and Club Business
16th June:Seniors & Friends Lunch-all welcome at The Mill,Gordleton
JULY
5th July: Fundraising and Friendship Lunch at Liz Sylvester’s.To be booked in advance.We hope to see Visitors form Penrith, one of our our Friendship Clubs.Proceeds to Cementing Futures.
13th July:Seniors & Friends Coffee Morning with a Raffle in aid of Cementing Futures.
20th July:This will be held at Branksome Dene Chine,by the Sea.Urgent Business only and a showing of a special DVD which was shown at the Barbados Conference
AUGUST
17th August:One of our members will give a “My Job Talk”.Club Business and Reports from our PAC Groups.
SEPTEMBER
21st September:Focus on the International Day of Peace ,Business
OCTOBER
19th October:A “My Job Talk”,and preparation for the Annual Confence in Cardiff.Regional Reports
29th October-31st October:Conference at Cardiff.The Club has a good number of members who like to attend this,and we are looking forwards to a good time at Cardiff Bay

16th November:This will cover Reports from Cardiff,Club Business and PAC
DECEMBER
tbc-Seniors and Friends Christmas Lunch……somewhere…………………..
21st December:Urgent Club Business and reports,followed by our Christmas Dinner and some entertainment.Always a good evening.
