Soroptimist hold annual meeting
A busy year for the Coleraine Club was reviewed at the annual general meeting. It was reported that £2000 had been raised in aid of local national and international charities. Specialist speakers had kept the club informed on current social issues.
Social contacts had been made with other Soroptimist Clubs and members had attended conferences in Harrogate, and Bray.
The outgoing President, Jean Doak, thanked the members of the club for their efforts to make such an enjoyable year and mentioned the work of Hon Secretary, Ann Watson and Hon Treasurer Winsome Burns as well as other officers.
