Soroptimists Remember

Crosby’s Soroptimists were once again among the crowds who attended the Civic Service on Remembrance Sunday at the ‘Five Lamps’ War Memorial in Waterloo. President Pat Williams laid a wreath on behalf of the club. “It is always a moving occasion,” she said, “and I was very proud to take part in this, our Club’s 70th anniversary year”

In addition, club member Annette Hughes stepped out on parade at the head of 1128 (Crosby) Air Training Corps - the Squadron’s first female commanding officer.
