President’s message
Greetings from East Grinstead. I am proud to be the Club’s President for the next year and would like to tell you a little about myself.
I have been working as a Modern Foreign Language teacher since 1999 but I have had other careers in business as a tri-lingual secretary and also as a worldwide tour manger.
I feel the principles of Soroptimism are just as relevant today as when the movement was founded 90 years ago. I welcome new members to our speaker meetings and social events where my theme for this year is “In Friendship”. It should be particularly informative for anyone who may be thinking of joining our club.
I have chosen to support East Grinstead Mental Health and the Ghana Education Project as my joint charities for the year.
