Club quiz; a little bit of magic
The annual quiz, run by the club as a fund-raiser in the community centre in Stubbington, was held on Friday night 28 November. There were 14 teams competing from a variety of local clubs and organisations. The quiz was again hosted by magician Peter, who interspersed question rounds with magic tricks.
After a well-fought battle of wits, during which the lead changed a few times, the final victors emerged: The Quiz ‘Ards (from Rotary).
Funds raised from the evening, including the raffle of 30 prizes (drawn during the competition and displayed with the quiz results at the end), will go to the President’s charity: Hampshire Air Ambulance.
