Triumph at Winchester quiz!
On Friday 23rd January an intrepid team from Gosport and Fareham club went to the annual Winchester quiz night held in Littleton. The team name for the evening was “FarePort Convention”.
The team members are looking pleased with themselves and the chocolates they won along with the accolade ‘experts in low culture’ - the prize was awarded to the only team present to correctly identify 25 cartoon characters. But the five acquitted themselves well in the main event too, by coming second - pipped by just two points by a team calling themselves Wykeham Wanderers.
