New President Pam Grosvenor writes:
Welcome to our website!
This promises to be a really interesting year in our club’s 35 year history.
We are welcoming three members of the Royan club (one of our friendship links) as I write. It’s good to exchange news about what our respective clubs are doing and to get ideas about projects and activities.
We meet twice a month (except August) and you can see details of our supper speaker meetings in the Programme of events -topics range from astronomy to Chinese brush painting. We also have various projects and fund-raising events on the go – there is something for everyone, whether it’s a quiz, wine-tasting, walking, or making a quilt.
A warm welcome awaits you if you’d like to sample our programme and meet our members. One of our French guests found us “très sympathique” - we hope you will too!
