President’s message
SI Ilkley is 64 years old and still making a difference to the local community and globally! We enjoy our different projects locally, nationally and internationally as well as having fun and fellowship at our various meetings and events. Recently you could have found us on The Grove dressed in pink- raising awareness about breast cancer and Soroptimism as well as collecting a lot of money. We support Zimbabweans both here and in their country in different ways, keep ourselves informed about concerns and issues such as Sex Trafficking and HIV/AIDS, learn new skills as we take part in Soroptimist development and training and enjoy NGO status at the United Nations as an international organisation.
I feel privileged to be a part of this club as well as being an international Soroptimist. Being a member has made a great difference to my life and it could to yours!
