Cakes and bakes raise money for President Elect’s Charity
And everyone went to market!
Sales of cakes and preserves have raised £570 for the NSPCC, our President Elect’s nominated charity for 2009-2010. Members of SI Leicester dusted off their recipe books and made a mouth-watering array of cakes, biscuits, pies and preserves which were on sale at Loughborough Market. The Easter weather may have been cloudy and dull but this didn’t dampen market-goers generosity as everything sold out very quickly.
