SI London Mayfair were delighted to host a weekend of activities for their new Friendship Link, SI Bruxelles Sablon, at the beginning of May. Activities included visits to Kensington Palace, the London Eye and the beautiful UNESCO site of Greenwich. The Link was celebrated with discussions on the Clubs’ projects, the exchange of signed Link certificates in French and English and the lighting of a candle to symbolise peace and friendship. The 2 Clubs decided to make the Link official after more than 12 years of regular contact and friendship between them and a visit to Brussels by SI London Mayfair members in 1999.
