Teams of Excellence in Practice at SI London Mayfair
At our business meetings our Club Development Officer, Helen Wiedemann often runs a workshop for our members. In the past Helen has attended the London Chilterns Region
Development Events, run by Peggy Simson, the Region Accredited Trainer for Teams of Excellence where she reports on ideas and material for development.
We also have lively and constructive discussions in
groups involving all members and covering questions on publicity, programme action, induction, recruitment and retention of members and club management.
Members are also encouraged to suggest how they can develop their own roles further within the club. Eileen Shaw, our own member who, along with Sue Greener of SI Tunbridge Wells, writes all the modules for Teams of Excellence which they deliver at SIGBI Conference workshops each year, also attends and helps out at these development meetings.
