    As members of SI London Mayfair were invited to a bbq lunch by Anne Naysmith and her husband on London Open House weekend, we decided to combine it with a visit to one of the properties not usually open to the public.  We went to the one nearest their house and enjoyed an interesting tour of a modern, ecofriendly  office and residential building, erected on a small site and yet so well planned that there was daylight in the offices and a veranda, courtyard and roof garden for access to the open air  in a densely built up area.  We were fortunate in the weather as it was a warm sunny day and after the tour we enjoyed an excellent lunch in Anne and Brian’s garden.  Over £200 was raised for our President’s charity, Link Ethiopia .”
