The event was held on Thursday 4th March 2010 at the Crofters Hotel and took the format of a meal followed by an auction of gifts and promises.
The auctioneer was Mr Colin Tomlinson from Kendal who gave his service for free.
 
The gifts and promises were given from each club in the Region and also by individual members. They ranged from holidays in Fowey Cornwall and Mazarron Spain to pamper and fair trade hampers and many electrical goods, however if an Arran sweater was your preference then you could order one knitted to your specifications.  In total we had 28 items to auction and the auctioneer orchestrated this in a very humourous, exciting and proffesional way.
The meal was superb
 
The total raised from tickets,donations and the auction items was £2256.00 profit for Project SIerra.
