Afternoon Tea 15th July 2008
Afternoon Tea for Club members was held at President Glenys’ home and was a very enjoyable social event. Pat Hewitt and her Canine Partner, Yukon, joined us and, as usual, Yukon was made a great fuss of.
We were extremely lucky with the weather, the sun shone brightly and the many cakes had to be moved or melt!!
President Glenys had prepared a sumptous feast of dainty sandwiches, scones jam and cream, and “to die for” cakes.
There were sales of lemon marmalade, cucumbers and sweet peas.
A total of £95 was raised for President Glenys’ charity - Canine Partners.
