The Fashion Show in April raised nearly 1000. This will shortly be presented to Halton Parkinson’s Support Group, to assist with travel to group events.

Norton Priory

This year’s summer outing was to Norton Priory one Saturday afternoon in June. We enjoyed an excellent guided tour of the priory ruins and re-created herb garden, which really brought the site to life. Everyone agreed it is a gem of a place, and on our doorstep too! So most of us signed up as season ticket holders.

We then adjourned to the Ring O’ Bells at Daresbury for a meal, and to round off the evening several members went back to Norton Priory for an Abba tribute concert in aid of Help the Aged, which was hugely enjoyed by all.
