<p> Nell Gwynn (alias Lesley Smith from Tutbury Castle) was the star attraction.   Nell described her life: from poverty in the slums of London, fame in the theatre and then finally the favourite mistress of the King.</p>
<p>The event, which included supper, was held at the County Buildings, Stafford A very suitable venue for Nell, with her royal connections. The event raised £640 for Staffordshire Blind and Oak Tree Farm Rural Project.  </p>
<p>A total of £640.00 was raised, this will go to two local charities, Staffordshire Blind and the Oak Tree Farm Rural Project for people with learning difficulties</p>
