Learning More about Shakespeare Hospice
At their August meeting Stratford Soroptimists welcomed Dr Paul Ong who spoke about his work in palliative care and as Head of Patient Services at the Shakespeare Hospice. Our club has supported the Hospice for many years. In March 2008 they held a Bangers and Mash Lunch to raise funds and President Ann Prentice as chosen it as the club’s main charity during her year in office.
Other fund-raising events will be announced later in the year.
Members were please to welcome Elaine Malendewicz, chair ofthe Friends of the Shakespeare Hospice as a visitor at the August meeting.
