About our Club

The Sudbury and Halstead Club has a small but active group of members from a range of professions.

Look at the websites from Soroptimist clubs around our region and you will see that Soroptimists get involved in lots of activities that support women and girls. In the Sudbury, Halstead and District club, we are just as active.

This year we have had lively meetings! We have discussed national and international concerns and have decided on our local focus. We are supporting Suffolk Carers, a twenty-year-old charity that helps people who are housebound and their carers. They give the support that people need to cope.

We support the international project - Project SIerra and the regional project in Malawi. These projects bring many Soroptimists together and we firmly believe that Together We Are Strong!

We are a friendly group, so, if you would like more information about becoming a Soroptimist you can contact us through the website. We will get in touch with you and if you would like to come along to one of our meetings, we will let you know when and where we meet.

Becoming a Soroptimist introduces you to challenges - but you will make lots of interesting friends.

We hope you will check us out!
