President Chris’s message 2009-10
I look forward to the coming year with excitement.
We will be following the theme of “Working Together To Grow “and hopefully making a difference on the way.
During the year we will be supporting projects which will include EMBO, providing for AIDs orphans in South Africa , working together with our Friendship Link Clubs in Durban and Kyoto. We will be sending shoe boxes and aid throughout the year to the ongoing victims of the Chernobyl disaster and supplies for the hospital in Belarus. This year in particular we will be supporting Project SIerra, the Soroptimist International Quadrennial Project, improving the lives of young women and children in that war torn country.
More locally, we will be supporting a local DVU, St Giles Hospice and inner city schools with our visits and story sacks.
Out aim is to have fun, raising the profile of SI Sutton Coldfield along the way. We are a friendly, happy Club and welcome ladies who are like minded and invite them to contact us.
