The region of Wales South extends across Fishguard in the West, Cardigan in the North, and Newport in the east.

The Sixtieth Anniversary of the formation of our Region was celebrated at a tea party after a Wales Programme Action Conference in Builth Wells October 1999.
Our most senior clubs SI Swansea (1933) and SI Llanelli (1937) were virtually on their own until after the second World War but from 1947 onwards there was a steady stream of recruitment throughout the southern region of Wales.
2008-2009 is our 70th Anniversary and we will be celebrating in style at a dinner and dance on Friday 13th June. We are also delighted that Federation President Carwen is a member of Wales South and eagerly await the Cardiff Conference in October 2009!
