President’s Message
Welcome to SI Winchester and District. We are a group of professional and business women brought together by our desire to uphold the aims and objects of Soroptimist International, the largest women’s service organisation in the world with 95,000 members in 120 countries. In order to achieve this, we lobby those of influence, raise funds and actively participate in chosen projects, described in “Our Projects”.
We meet twice each month, once for a business meeting (for members only) and on the second occasion socially, which may be a supper evening with a speaker, or a fundraising event, or a special occasion at which friends and family are also invited.
We are a friendly, welcoming club with members from a wide range of backgrounds with many skills who have joined together to give service, share friendship and have fun.
If you are interested in helping your community, broadening your circle of friends and associates, being involved in current social issues and contributing to a wider understanding of international goodwill, we will be pleased to welcome you to one of our social events listed in our “Diary of Events” and subsequently to see if you would be interested in membership.
