Our Projects
As Soroptimists, our voluntary work is the focus of what we do. We call this Programme Action and it is concentrated in 6 areas: Economic and Social Development; Education; Environment; Health; Human Rights and the Status of Women; and International Goodwill and Understanding. The projects which we support may include one or more of these areas but our goals are always to try to ensure that women and girls:
- enjoy equity and equality,
- live in safe and healthy environments,
- have access to education, and
- develop leadership and practical skills.
